Welcome to the NaNoWriMo Prep Club, where I pimp out my blog for the entirety of October to help myself and others prepare for participation in NaNoWriMo. There’s a tough November month ahead of us; writing a 50,000 word novel in 30 days is not an easy task, so I wanted to prepare myself as much as possible beforehand. I hope I can help others do the same.
Throughout October I’ll be posting useful tips about NaNoWriMo or novelling in general. Not just tips from me, but tips from all over the interwebs because I’ll admit that I don’t know everything.
I’ll also be posting writing prompts for anyone who wants to practice. I’ll post three in each article, and the idea is to pick one that inspires you and write a short story in a day. You can chose your own word count goal; I will be going for a minimum 1,500 words per story. Feel free to share your short stories as well!
